1) Possible Entry Points
For Long Entries:
• Condition A: Price has just crossed above the Bollinger Band middle line (based on closing price), and two consecutive candles close above it.
• Condition B: Within the last 10 candles, a Bullish divergence was detected.
• When both A + B are met, consider the current level as a potential long reference point (still requires confirmation and risk control).
For Short Entries:
• Condition A: Price has just crossed below the Bollinger Band middle line, and two consecutive candles close below it.
• Condition B: Within the last 10 candles, a Bearish divergence was detected.
• When both A + B are met, consider the level as a potential short reference point (confirmation required).
Tip: Adjust Bollinger Band period and deviation according to your instrument and timeframe.
This framework combines divergence analysis with mean-reversion logic for practical guidance.
2) Multi-Timeframe Confluence
• Observe higher timeframes (e.g., M15 → H1) to confirm divergences or trend direction — stronger when aligned.
• Set the minimum confluence ( showlimit ) to 2–3 to filter out isolated signals.
3) Risk Management
• Place stops beyond recent pivots or at fixed distances.
• Control exposure strictly; avoid trading purely on divergences during high-volatility news events.
